Learning Objectives
- Provide a clear understanding of where certain common meals fit within the different food groups
- Educate on how to achieve a balanced diet using the 5 food groups
- Knowledge on each food group and common foods within each section
- Fun and engaging
NOTE: Advisable to undertake this activity after you have played the Interactive Whiteboard Food Group game, but can be taught simultaneously for visual support and reference.
This activity also works great as a stand-alone printed resource if children have prior knowledge of food groups.
